I had a very satisfied stay at this motel. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and cozy, and the amenities were just what I needed. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.
as I rented the room they argued in front of me in their language which most would find unprofessional but I find rather intertaining. the rooms are smelly and old but at 180 dollars a week you should kinda expect that. The room does not have much to offer and this is just my first night no spying or nosyness so far.

I recently stayed at Budget Inn Express with a friend and had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, making sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. The room itself was clean and cozy, with all the necessary amenities such as a comfortable bed, clean linens, and a well-equipped kitchenette. We were also pleasantly surprised by the spacious bathroom with a luxurious shower.
Room was ready when I checked in but internet was awful. But everything else was good. Employees were helpful & nice.
The owners make you feel very safe and are so kind. They also have the best nightly and weekly prices in town. Right across the street from neighborhood Walmart makes it even more worth the stay. All together a great stay here.
I have stayed at Budget Inn Express Hickory with my wife several times in the past and each time we have had a good experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is pleasant. We have also found the rates to be very reasonable and the location is convenient to many attractions in the area. All in all, Budget Inn Express Hickory is a great place to stay.
Normally prices for a room here is $75. Since Fema it's almost a thousand for 1 night. I thought this was legal, it's more like price gouging. Fema is basically government. So who is paying for the price gouging? And to actually see the employees having to kick people out in the streets in the cold. Just to struggle even more?
